I’m a MSc student in electronics and recently I have started to use Nengo for my master thesis. I started with the example single neuron , but I did not understand the purpose of using a sinusoid signal as input to the neuron. The sinusoid represents a realistic brain signal? what is its origin?
I think it’s just an example of how a neuron responds to a stimulus; it’s not meant to be a realistic brain signal. You’re welcome to replace it with whatever signal you want.
