I was wondering if anyone of Nengo’s community is thinking to entering or is working on the contest.

Good question! We had a group of people working on ARC at the Nengo Summer School this year. The main approach was to look at different ways of using Spatial Semantic Pointers (i.e continuous-space VSAs) to encode the ARC problems and try doing a few different methods for finding patterns in this (similar to the Raven’s Progressive Matrices work). I’m not sure what the follow-up has been since then, though.
